Neil E. Stone founded Stone's Mobile Radio in 1954, servicing radios in his garage in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. In 1956 Stone's became a Motorola Service Shop (MSS). Today, we are a Full Line Authorized Dealer, Manufacturers Representative (MR), a Select System Dealer and a Federal Agent for Motorola. We are authorized to sell and service all Radius radios, all Motorola Branded radios and all Astro Digital equipment. We are authorized to service all Dispatch Centers and Federal Accounts requiring GSA pricing.
In May of 2002, Chris Ranisate and Paul Haen purchased Stone's. Their experience and dedication to new ideas has brought Stone's diversified success in the new millennium.
In 2004, Stone's expanded our product offerings to include security systems. Today, we're providing our customers with a better outlook on their property and possession with a number of products from Honeywell, including close circuit TV, surveillance equipment and access control. We also provide wireless data and video services.
Most recently, Stone's has built a reputation as a leader in the sales, management and installation of GPS Fleet Services Systems. We're helping businesses manage their mobile workers, their vehicles and ultimately their entire operations with products from CES Wireless, Network Car and Discrete Wireless.
